Reviews & results
Personal feedback from lessons, carefully translated for each language version.
The Saturday class is great. Birgit caters for all ability levels and engages us in conversations that are relevant to our experiences and family situation. It is also a great way to find out more about Germany and German life and culture.
The topics and content were relevant each time because they aligned with what was happening in my daily life—for example, how to book hotels, order items, and talk about office or supermarket products. That made learning more interesting and understandable because it focused on things I use or encounter every day. I could apply what I learned in class immediately. Frau Jänsch’s recommendations have also been very helpful for understanding the language outside the classroom: the vocabulary box, labelling things around the house, spending about 15 minutes a day writing sentences and speaking, and watching selected TV programmes. All of this has played an important part in my understanding of the language. The pace is very good for me—neither rushed nor too slow—which is essential when learning a language. She also gives valuable feedback, which I appreciate very much. Overall, I would not change anything about my trainer, the methods used or the way we communicate.
Additional success stories will be added as soon as they are available and approved for publication.
